To all my friends (including Drew)

To celebrate the end of lockdown 2021, I am hosting a big MOTHER of a party here at the family farm in Kent. It’s also a great chance for all of us to celebrate a joint 40th birthday, for those of us who couldn’t during the last year.

This will be a family event, with all kids welcome. And ideally it will be an awesome sleep-over party with camping fun too, a firepit with marshmallows etc. (Or for those of you that don’t like camping, feel free to jog on to the nearest B&B round the corner – I’ll see if I can get some preferential rates for us)

See below, for a rough guide on what will be going on for the weekend’s entertainment.

But most importantly… I need you to confirm if you will be attending or not – so I can get figures for the booze and food.

The Program
Sat 21st Aug

The party day with BBQ starting at 12 noon sharp!  There is loads of parking on site, so just rock up.

Then a camping stayover with firepit and marshmallows, coupled with music for the night time (Watch out! Mallet might bring his guitar!)

Sun 22nd Aug

All go home and I can clean up! (Blatantly I’ll be getting someone else to clean up)

The FOOOOD!
  • Juicy burgers
  • Pork sausages & bratwursts
  • Sizzling steak
  • Jerk chicken
  • McDaddy of ribs
  • Mama Suzza’s special noodles
  • Fried Halloumi
  • Other veggie shite

We’ll supply the booze – don’t worry! (But feel free to bring some spare in case of emergencies! We all know Ange drank the wine dry last time!)

We’ll have wine, beers, rum, and a small cocktail list to choose from.

And a range of soft drinks on hand too for the kids and the lightweight pussies (I’m looking out for Rouge here).

The Family Fun

This will be a family affair, so feel free to bring along the kids! We will have:

  • The Mega Fort climbing frame
  • a Big ass trampoline
  • a Mini Bouncy castle for the likes of Sadie and Gaia
  • a Wendy House
  • the Mud kitchen
  • Swingball (Don’t play against Furm… he cheats!)
  • Hopefully a Tug-Of-War rope if I can get one
  • Sack races
  • Camping for those wanting to stay over
  • Various other outdoor kids games
